As the largest performing arts organization in Nebraska, the Omaha Symphony has been a keystone institution in its community for over 90 years. The Symphony is committed to enriching lives through the power of live orchestral music, and this mission requires reaching an increasingly broad audience to share that experience. The Omaha Symphony partners with Nonprofit Megaphone in using the Google Ad Grant to reach a very targeted set of individuals who display interest in music and call them to action to attend a performance.

Google Ads allows the Omaha Symphony to reach the public “where they are.” Many visitors are in the initial stages of their research, having searched keywords such as “upcoming concerts” or “concerts near me.” These individuals may not be aware of the Symphony prior to searching, but they are quickly introduced through very high performing ads that have maintained a double-digit click-through rate. Even in the midst of COVID-19, their account continues to perform well. In October 2020, they received more than 2,500 new visitors to their website and had over 3,850 clicks on ads.
