The Challenge

Educated Canines Assisting with Disabilities (ECAD) did not have anyone on their staff who understood the Google Ad Grant, and they were searching for a partner who could effectively utilize the grant and improve online visibility. 

The Outcome

Since partnering with NPM in October 2017, ECAD has had many thousands of new website visitors learning about their mission via the Google Grant. They continue to see steady numbers, with an average of over 2,000 people visiting their website on a monthly basis.

Educated Canines Assisting with Disabilities (ECAD) has a special mission – to educate and place service dogs with people with disabilities to help them lead lives with more independence and mobility. With such a fantastic mission, they are transforming the lives of people with all kinds of disabilities, including Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, Sleep Apnea, Cerebral Palsy, spinal cord injuries, PTSD, and so much more.

Their Core Programs provide help to specific groups of people. Open Doors provides service dogs and facility dogs for people with disabilities. The Canine Magic Program is unique because it provides specially educated service dogs to assist children with autism. Project HEAL was formed to help veteran’s in need who have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder or Traumatic Brain Injury.

Partnering with Nonprofit Megaphone, ECAD has seen tremendous success with its Google Ad campaigns. While the country began to shelter in place, ECAD and NPM partnered to boost their campaigns for their Live Puppy Cam as well as their Live Training Classes, and the results were amazing! At the height of the shut-down, with the help of Google Ads, ECAD saw over 380 different users checking out their live cam feed. Now that most things have opened up, they are still realizing over 150+ live cam users on a monthly basis and maintaining a solid click-through-rate of 7.44%.

In addition to managing the Google Ads Grant, ECAD has also partnered with NPM to boost their website traffic with the SEO Content Add-On and SEO Optimization Add-On. NPM creates new blog articles and performs website optimizations regularly for ECAD, helping even more people to hear about their mission and the impact that ECAD-trained service dogs make possible.
