HELPING EVERYONE “GO RUN”!

The Chicago Area Runners Association (CARA) began in 1978 as a grassroots organization, and stays true to those roots. Today, CARA boasts over 10,000 members, who collectively volunteer over 42,000 hours each year to facilitate the organization’s programs. 

As the third largest communication of local runners in the United States, CARA was looking for a way to engage new people in the organization’s mission and get them involved in events, races, and training opportunities. Working with Nonprofit Megaphone, the Chicago Area Runners Association has gone from a standing start to spending over $7,000 of the Google Ad Grant each month and bringing nearly 4,000 new people to the website on a monthly basis.

This fantastic performance has built over time, showcasing the value of continuing to invest in building momentum with the Google Ad Grant. All of us at Nonprofit Megaphone are thrilled to be partnering with CARA and look forward to breaking new “personal records” together.
