To gain access to Google Earth Outreach, your organization must have a Google for Nonprofits account and a Google Cloud billing account. When your organization registers a Maps project on Google, a $200/month credit is included, but you can apply for more Google Maps Platform credits. You will also need to provide your organization’s address, phone number, and domain name as well as your organization’s usage requirements. You need to know if you’ll be publishing Google Maps APIs on a public website, a restricted access website, or both. You will also need to provide justification for why your organization needs additional credit beyond the $200/month that’s included when you register your Maps project.
To apply for more credits, sign in to your organization’s Google for Nonprofits account, find “Google Maps Platform credits,” and click “Get Started.” Then, follow the steps to complete the application.
