Before NPM, she worked as a freelance editor, developing her editorial eye while collaborating with writers across genres. She also brought a particular passion for environmental conservation and education, passions she'd honed while teaching creative writing and survival skills at an outdoor Montessori school.

Whether she's crafting blog articles, website copy, or email newsletters, she focuses on distilling complicated ideas into accessible language without sacrificing nuance or losing the heart of the story. Following her experiences as a college English instructor, managing editor of humanities journals, secondary education content writer, and volunteer with multiple nonprofits, she is truly at home using her skills to support diverse great causes with Nonprofit Megaphone. She has worked in SEO content creation since 2021 and is especially passionate about social justice, animal welfare, conservation, and education.
A highly productive and conversion-driving SEO writer, Celeste has advocated for the creation of additional content services to meet a wider range of client needs. She began by volunteering to post NPM client content as a no-cost, needs-based offering that has since evolved into an official service. She also helped to develop our current Email Series service and spearheaded the first phase of email copy creation. She plans to continue supporting innovations and services that provide value for our clients.
